Jason Kaushi

Jason Kaushi is an Indian assistant director, social media personality and reality television contestant who gained wider recognition through Bigg Boss – The Common Man, the special pre-show introduced to select non-celebrity participants for Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10.

Jason emerged as one of the notable contestants during the Common Man selection process, standing out for his personality, confidence and presence in front of the camera. His journey became particularly significant when he became the first commoner to secure a place in the Bigg Boss Tamil 10 house through the pre-show, making him an early success story for the season’s newly introduced commoner selection format.

Although he entered Bigg Boss as a commoner rather than an established celebrity, Jason already had some experience in the entertainment and digital-media space. He has worked as an assistant director and maintained a presence on Instagram, giving him familiarity with both behind-the-camera production and social media.

Jason was ultimately one of three contestants selected by the audience from Bigg Boss – The Common Man to join the main competition, alongside Muniyamma and Shama. Their selection allowed non-celebrity participants to compete directly with the season’s actors, television personalities, models and social media figures.

Jason officially entered the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 house during the grand premiere on 6 September 2026, becoming part of the season’s original line-up.
