Manivannan

Manivannan is an Indian reality television personality who rose to prominence as a commoner contestant through Bigg Boss – The Common Man, the pre-show created to select non-celebrity participants for Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10.

Auditioning in his forties, Manivannan spoke about his desire to achieve something significant and memorable in his life. During The Common Man, he gradually became a crowd favourite for his entertaining personality and lighthearted sense of humour. His distinctive talents include creating vocal sound effects and amusing fellow contestants with unusual skills, such as reading and pronouncing words backwards.

Manivannan successfully progressed through a series of physical, mental and strategic challenges during the selection show. One of the key stages of his journey was the high-stakes Ranking Battle, which tested contestants as they competed to remain in contention. His performances helped him survive the elimination rounds and secure a place among the Top 15 finalists of Bigg Boss – The Common Man.

Although he did not enter the main Bigg Boss house on the grand premiere night, his journey was not over. In September 2026, Manivannan was given another opportunity when he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 as the season’s first wildcard contestant, becoming one of the first commoner participants from the pre-show to make the transition into the main competition.
